At Vista International School, our mission is to be the wind beneath each Vistaians’ wings, supporting them as they discover passions, build character, and grow into confident, balanced individuals. For many students, these journeys extend beyond academics into sports, arts, creativity, leadership, technology, and community engagement. Vista ensures every child receives the right guidance, flexibility, and environment to explore their potential fully.

Co-scholastic learning is not just an add-on at Vista. It shapes mindsets, values, and life skills. Through diverse experiences, students learn to embrace challenges, collaborate effectively, celebrate discipline, and develop emotional intelligence.

  • To be humble in victory and gracious in defeat.
  • To learn from experience, not just outcomes.
  • To take on every challenge with enthusiasm.

This forms the heart of a Vistaian’s holistic growth.

The sports curriculum at Vista International School is designed to help students strengthen essential physical skills such as speed, endurance, agility, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Beyond physical fitness, sports teach invaluable life lessons such as teamwork, leadership, resilience, confidence, and self-discipline.

Our campus offers an impressive range of outdoor and indoor sports facilities that encourage students to explore their interests and discover their sporting strengths. Under the guidance of trained P.E. teachers and coaches, students learn to develop technique, discipline, and a genuine love for physical activity.

Vista’s recently upgraded sports infrastructure includes a well-maintained athletics track, cricket pitch, world-class basketball and tennis courts, volleyball and handball courts, synthetic turf, a skating rink, and more. Students can choose from a wide variety of sporting activities such as Athletics, Basketball, Cricket, Tennis, Skating, Table Tennis, Handball, Football, and Volleyball. We believe that sports play a vital role in a child’s holistic development, helping them build confidence while fostering a healthy and active lifestyle.

PET Classes and Mass PT:

From the early years onward, students participate in thoughtfully designed Physical Education Training (PET) sessions that build stamina, strength, coordination, and motor skills. Regular exposure to structured physical activity helps them understand the value of fitness and develop healthy habits.

Weekly Mass PT brings the entire school together for energetic sessions, from aerobics to Zumba, creating a sense of community and shared enthusiasm for staying active.

After-School Coaching:

Vista offers specialized after-school coaching for students who wish to advance their skills in specific sports. Our students regularly represent the school at inter-school, state, national, and international competitions across the year.

Vista students regularly represent the school at inter-school, zonal, state, and national-level sports competitions, achieving commendable results across disciplines. These experiences help students build confidence, resilience, and a strong spirit of sportsmanship.

Our experienced coaches are committed to nurturing fair play, discipline, teamwork, and a growth mindset, guiding students to balance performance with character development.

Arts and Craft:

Art and Craft form an essential part of the learning experience at Vista International School. These sessions encourage students to explore their imagination, express themselves freely, and discover their innate artistic strengths. Our skilled art teachers guide students in refining technique while allowing creativity to take centre stage.

Through a thoughtfully designed visual arts curriculum, students engage with a range of mediums – crayons, pastels, water colours, oils, and mixed media. They are also introduced to Indian folk art traditions and contemporary styles, helping them appreciate artistic diversity and develop a deeper cultural understanding.

Clay Art :

Clay modelling is a favourite among young learners. It enhances hand–eye coordination, builds both fine and gross motor skills, and strengthens the small muscles used for writing, colouring, and cutting. Beyond skill-building, clay work is both calming and energizing, giving students a tactile, hands-on way to express ideas.

Dance:

Dance plays a vital role in building flexibility, strength, coordination, stamina, and balance. More importantly, it boosts confidence, rhythm, and self-expression. Dance classes at Vista help children channel their energy creatively while learning discipline and grace.

Music:

Music supports intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development. Exposure to rhythm and melody enhances language skills, memory, motor coordination, and overall literacy. Our music sessions help children make connections between sound, meaning, and expression, strengthening both creativity and cognitive growth.

Theatre Art Club:

Theatre and performing arts empower students to express themselves effectively and confidently. Whether through acting, mime, spoken word, anchoring, or public speaking, students learn to communicate with clarity, collaborate with peers, and understand diverse perspectives. The Theatre Art Club nurtures emerging actors, anchors, journalists, choreographers, and performers by helping them refine talent in a supportive environment.

Students at Vista International School can choose from a wide range of clubs based on their interests and passions. Our Co-Curricular and Sports Clubs enrich student life, encourage curiosity, and nurture diverse talents, helping every learner discover new skills and shape their unique strengths.

Literary Club:

The Literary Club is a space for language lovers to explore expression in all its forms. Students participate in elocution, declamation, debates, JAM sessions, recitations, monologues, extempore speaking, and more. These activities sharpen communication skills, build confidence, and cultivate a strong command over language

Culinary Club:

For students who enjoy creativity in the kitchen, the Culinary Club offers engaging fireless cooking sessions. Children experiment with simple recipes, learn healthy meal-planning basics, and understand the value of smart nutrition choices, all while experiencing the joy of preparing food.

Eco Club:

The Eco Club is perfect for nature enthusiasts. Students take responsibility for planting and tending the school’s herb garden and engage in collaborative learning about sustainability. This hands-on experience nurtures environmental awareness, responsibility, and a genuine love for nature.

Creative Writing Club:

For budding writers, the Creative Writing Club opens doors to imagination and expression. Students explore multiple genres, practice storytelling techniques, and learn to articulate ideas with clarity and creativity. It is a space where thoughts take flight through words.

tudents whose pen multitask as swords adept at driving a point home, or a time machine to transport even the most reluctant minds to a fantastical place, are perfectly suited for the Creative Writing Club. Students give wings to their flair for writing by learning about and exploring various genres of writing.

Community Service Activity Club:

The CSA Club encourages students to contribute meaningfully to society. Through service activities, students learn empathy, responsibility, and leadership while understanding how their actions can positively impact their community. The experience plays a vital role in shaping compassionate individuals.

Equality Club:

In partnership with Rubaroo, Hyderabad, the Equality Club helps students build interpersonal skills and deepen their social awareness. Carefully designed exercises and discussions encourage empathy, inclusivity, and progressive thinking, preparing students to become sensitive, informed citizens.

Gavel Club:

Affiliated with Toastmasters International, Vista’s Gavel Club – The Ciceronian Squad of Vista – nurtures young leaders and confident speakers. Students practice public speaking, develop leadership qualities, and learn organizational and collaborative skills in a structured, supportive setting.

Student-Led Clubs (Senior School Initiative)

Vista International School encourages leadership and initiative through Student-Led Clubs, a unique senior school initiative driven by Grade 12 students. These passion-led clubs are conceptualised, planned, and led by students, with participation from learners in Grades 9 to 11.

From Cinematography and Radio to Gaming and other interest-based pursuits, Student-Led Clubs provide a platform for peer learning, creativity, collaboration, and mentorship. Guided by faculty support, students take ownership of planning activities, managing teams, and leading projects, developing real-world leadership, organisational, and communication skills in the process.

International Partnerships

Vista International School believes that meaningful global exposure goes far beyond physical travel. True international learning is built through collaboration, dialogue, and shared experiences that connect students across cultures and perspectives.Through its international partnerships, Vista provides students with opportunities to engage with peers from different countries, encouraging cultural exchange, empathy, and global awareness. These experiences help students develop communication skills, adaptability, and a deeper understanding of the interconnected world they are growing up in.

In collaboration with the JDO Foundation, an educational non-profit based in Littleton, Colorado (USA), Vista facilitates structured international learning engagements for students. These collaborations are designed around thoughtfully curated global themes and projects that promote creativity, responsible digital citizenship, and collaborative problem-solving.

Students work on shared, theme-based projects using digital platforms such as Padlet, Canva, and Book Creator. Each project offers multiple levels of engagement, allowing students to participate at a pace and depth suited to their interests and abilities. Regular virtual interactions and collaborative meetings enable students to exchange ideas, showcase their work, and learn directly from international peers.

Through these partnerships, students gain exposure to diverse viewpoints, cultures, and learning approaches. The experience not only strengthens academic and digital skills but also nurtures empathy, confidence, and a global mindset, preparing Vista students to engage thoughtfully and meaningfully with the world beyond the classroom.

Partner Schools for AY 2022–23

  • Grade 6: Ita’s Primary School, Belfast, Northern Ireland
  • Grade 7: Primary School, Lamia, Greece

Students of Vista International School explored the treasures of the vibrant pink city, Jaipur. The old-world charm of the city – with its intricate architectural marvels, history, culture, art and food – held them all in thrall. Students regaled in the stories of the city – as explained by the expert guide – tried their hand at block printing and blue pottery and nurtured themselves with the exquisite Marwari food. They came back with their soul satiated and memories to last a lifetime.

Rhapsody – Art-Integrated Learning

Vista International School has partnered with Rhapsody to bring a transformative, art-integrated approach to learning. Rhapsody’s award-winning pedagogy blends visual and performing arts with academic concepts, unlocking every child’s creative potential. Aligned with the vision of NEP 2020, this programme strengthens social-emotional learning while nurturing Creative Intelligence across four dimensions:

  • Artistic Creativity – through visual and performing arts
  • Cognitive Creativity – exploring alternative thinking approaches to STEM and other subjects
  • Collaborative Creativity – enhancing social skills through teamwork
  • Design & Innovation – through Creative Coding, Design Thinking, and more

Led by trained Rhapsody educators, these sessions immerse students in joyful, meaningful learning that aligns seamlessly with Vista’s mission to cultivate 21st-century skills.

Internships

Internships give students a valuable window into the real world, helping them understand career pathways beyond school. By securing internships aligned with their interests, students develop personal confidence, discipline, and interpersonal skills. Vista encourages learners to pursue meaningful opportunities that broaden their horizons and support informed career choices.

Mystic Land

At Vista International School, learning is brought alive through powerful storytelling and immersive experiences. MysticLand is a fantasy-based educational universe that transforms curriculum learning into engaging narratives, helping students build essential 21st-century skills through story-driven exploration.

Implemented for students in Grades 1 to 8, MysticLand integrates Global Citizenship, Financial Literacy, and Sustainability into everyday learning through curriculum-aligned storybooks, daily and weekly news, UN-SDG drives, and thematic activities.

Aligned with NEP 2020 and NCF 2023, MysticLand blends seamlessly across boards, making textbook concepts as engaging as reading a story. Trusted by over 90,000 learners across 140 schools in 45+ cities and 3 countries, MysticLand at Vista turns learning into an adventure, one story at a time.

Digital & Emerging Technologies (AI-Integrated Learning)

Vista International School actively incorporates emerging technologies into everyday learning. Students are introduced to digital tools, AI-powered platforms such as Co-School, and age-appropriate tech resources that enhance research, creativity, and personalized learning. By blending technology with strong pedagogical practices, we prepare learners to navigate a future shaped by innovation and digital fluency.

Makerspace – Hands-on Science & Engineering

In partnership with ENTECRES Lab, Vista offers a dynamic Makerspace that brings science, physics, and engineering concepts to life through hands-on exploration. Instead of relying solely on textbook explanations, students engage with practical experiments that strengthen conceptual understanding. This programme nurtures critical thinking, curiosity, and problem-solving – key attributes for young innovators.

Work Education

Work Education at Vista provides students with opportunities to develop their artistic and practical skills beyond academics. Whether through jewellery-making, craftwork, or other creative projects, students learn to express themselves, work with different materials, and refine their aesthetic sense. These activities help them explore their talents while building focus, discipline, and creativity.

Students of Grades 1 and 3 of the IB wing, went to visit an orphanage – Cherish Home. This orphanage provides residence to 51 children – mostly girls – who find a caring abode there.

Students of Grade 3 connected this visit to supplement their learning of the unit of inquiry on child rights and responsibilities. Students of grade 1 connected this visit to the unit of inquiry on Family and Friends. Students conducted a donation drive for a week prior to this visit to collect grains, stationary, confectionary, toiletries etc to donate to the orphanage. Principal Ma’am personally contributed towards the dinner expenses for the children at the orphanage for that day.

Students spent a wonderful day laughing and playing with the girls at the orphanage – learning so much about the privilege they have and the responsibilities they should take to ensure they give back to the underprivileged.
