Students of Grade 12A hosted the morning assembly on 14/06/2023. They used the platform to highlight the state of Telangana. The host of the assembly, Kushala began with a small speech where she shared how Telangana is a truly unique state. This was followed by the pledge shared by Christina. The thought of the day was shared by Poshitha, who urged the Vistaians to “be the reason someone sees the good in people”. The word of the day, ‘epiphany’ was shared by Rithika. The news headlines were delivered by Abhinav and Vikas. The host, Kushala, further drew attention to the beautiful traditional attire of Telangana (worn by her fellow classmates presenting the assembly) and some major festivals celebrated here, along with their importance.
This was followed by a beautiful presentation of ‘Bathukamma’ dance performed by the students dressed in their traditional finery. To conclude their presentation Janhavi delivered a speech where she said how this vibrant, multicultural and pluralistic state is one world in many and urged the Vistaians to keep visiting their class bulletin board where they would keep sharing interesting information about Telangana throughout this academic year
The assembly concluded with the school singing the National Anthem.
