The Subject Struggle

Math stares at me, “Go find X!”

“It’s better you move on to what’s next.”

But letters and numbers blur and blend,

A puzzle unending, with no end.

Social Studies? I’ve had enough!

Empires rise and fall, it’s all just fluff!

“Akbar and viceroys, what’s their role in daily life?”

In this chaos, I struggle and strive.

Hindi’s grammar slithers, oh so mean,

“I can’t,” I mutter, feeling unseen.

Yet verbs and rules twist and turn,

In every mistake, there’s more to learn.

Science, my rival, here we go,

“If Newton sat by a coconut tree, life would flow!”

With laws and theories hard to trust,

In a swirl of atoms, I adjust.

English taunts me with words galore,

Rules that shift and meanings explored.

Silent letters and grammar tricks,

A maze of language, hard to fix.

Subjects piling up, oh what a sight,

The struggle gives me a fright.

But I’ll stand tall, “Bring it on!” I’ll say,

With laughs and struggles, I’ll find my way.

After exams, we’ll bask in the glow,

Before the results, we’ll let worries go.

Together we’ll conquer, mile after mile,

Facing it all with laughter and style!
