A fantastic assembly was presented by Grade 5B where they beautifully highlighted the state of Assam. The assembly was anchored by Krithika Reddy who ensured a seamless transition from one segment to other. Agastyan led the Vistaians through the pledge which was followed by the Thought of the Day, delivered by Kaarthikey Manam. This was followed by the Word of the Day presented by Sri Harsh. The news headlines were shared by Dhruv. Then Ms. Sudha, the class teacher of 5B addressed the assembly sharing some valuable information on Assam. Clad in a mekhala chador – the traditional attire of Assam, she highlighted the vibrance of the state. This was followed by a scintillating presentation of Bihu – the folk-dance form of Assam. The Vistaians were enthralled, to say the least, to witness such an amazing presentation. They were then addressed by Principal Ma’am who encouraged children from various classes to share their experiences of celebrating Father’s Day. She further shared her thoughts on caring for and respecting parents. The assembly concluded on a patriotic note in the form of the National Anthem.
