A fantastic theme-based assembly was conducted at the Primary Wing of Vista International School by the students of Grade 5B on Health, Safety and Child Protection with special reference to Malaria. The assembly was anchored by Sumod. After the school song was sung by the choir, Yakshitha came forward and led everyone through the pledge. The thought of the day was presented by Keerthi and the word of the day was shared by Varshith. The news headlines were shared by Rishi. This was followed by a scintillating ‘mosquito dance’ presented by the students of 5B, which raised their awareness about malaria. This was followed by a poem recited by Shreyanshi and Sahasra. The students were then addressed by Principal Ma’am who spoke about the importance of self-hygiene and health. She also shared an interested story, through which she enlightened the students on how life teaches us lessons all the time. The assembly concluded on a patriotic note in the form of the National Anthem.
