The Secondary Wing of VIS had a brilliant morning assembly presented by the students of Grade 10A. Championing their assigned state – Tripura, the students donned the state colours of black, white and red. The assembly was anchored by Aditi and Sahasra who greeted everyone with a lively ‘Phung Kaham’ (good morning, in Kokborok – the language spoken in Tripura). The assembly progressed with Rishi Raj leading through pledge and Aarav presenting an insightful thought of the day. Vaibhav came up next to share the word of the day, followed by Krishna Vamsi who shared the news headlines. Anirudh T came forward next to share some information about the state. The students held up various pictures to for the students to see and better understand the information being shared. Tisha took up the stage to display the traditional attire of the state. And then, as a special treat, the students of 10A sang and danced in the style of Hozagiri – a folk dance form of Tripura.
